Bhuray's Movie Musings 2013-2014 Television Show Awards: The Best of the Rest

It is definitely time to spruce up this blog and keep it going. I've been toiling away doing nothing with this space, and I have made the decision to take charge and do something about it.

My TV watching season came to a close just a couple of weeks ago, with myself scrambling to finish all of the shows I had set out to view at the start of June 2013. Viewings are done now, however, and I am ready to unleash my television awards on you fellow bloggers and readers.

First up is the best of the rest: the shows and performances I just didn't have enough room to include, but were almost just as fabulous as the finalists. I have listed which episodes I believe are the best to represent each series and performer.

Shows:

The Bridge [FX] ("Take the Ride, Pay the Toll")

Broadchurch [BBC America] ("Episode 1.8")
Game of Thrones [HBO] ("The Laws of Gods and Men")
Grimm [NBC] ("The Inheritance")
The Newsroom [HBO] ("Red Team III")
Once Upon a Time [ABC] ("Snow Drifts/There's No Place like Home")
Revenge [ABC] ("Execution")
Scandal [ABC] ("No Sun on the Horizon")

Performers:

Actors:

Jeff Daniels as Will McAvoy on The Newsroom
("Election Night, Part II")

Freddie Highmore as Norman Bates on Bates Motel
("Meltdown")
Lennie James as Joe Geddes on Low Winter Sun
("Pilot")
Mandy Patinkin as Saul Berenson on Homeland
("The Yoga Play")

Jeff Perry as Cyrus Beene on Scandal
("Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang")
Actresses:

Angela Bassett as Marie Laveau on American Horror Story: Coven
("The Magical Delights of Stevie Nicks")

Connie Britton as Rayna James on Nashville
("They Don't Make 'Em Like My Daddy Anymore")
Jemima Kirke as Jessa Johansson on Girls
("Females Only")
Olivia Munn as Sloan Sabbith on The Newsroom
("News Night with Will McAvoy")

Hayden Panettiere as Juliette Barnes on Nashville
("It's All Wrong, but It's All Right")

Up next, the final nominees! Stay tuned for those, and in the near future, more movie reviews along with television shows and music! Food also might be inserted here somewhere...only because I LOVE food!
