Roger Ebert
1942-2013
It took me a while to say something about this because I have been trying to put into words how I exactly feel. One of the reasons I really started liking film was because of watching Ebert & Roeper at the Movies, so hearing that Roger Ebert had passed away was extremely bittersweet. I appreciate that he gave movies chances and was able to give 4 star ratings to ones people wouldn't normally think to. I do that a lot (I like a lot of movies) and to have someone right of the bat I could relate with was great. I want to thank him for kick starting my obsession with film and lighting a passion inside myself I didn't think I would have.
RIP Mr. Ebert, you will be missed.
